Pendragon’s Megadaze opening gig confirmed;)
On Friday 3rd October I will be playing at Riff’s Bar, Swindon as part of Pendragon’s Megadaze event. The event has sold out for Saturday and Sunday, but Friday is still looking good for those who wish to attend;) I’m truly honoured to be invited to play as part of the prog giants tour, and Riff’s is always such a great venue to perform at.
From Pendragon’s site:
“Those of you who have attended one of the previous MegaDaze weekends will know it’s all about having fun, getting your mitts on the new album before anyone else and generally being part of the Pendie family for the weekend. tickets for the last Riff’s MegaDaze sold pretty darn quickly so be prepared. For those of you who manage to get hold of tickets, we will e-mail a list of local hotels and B&B’s very soon.”

David Waddington Joins Marland Music Management
After a performance at The Victoria in Swindon last year, I had the fortune to meet the remarkable woman who runs Marland Music Management. Ronnie Swift Laurie invited me to join her roster of incredibly talented songwriters and performers, and she has been instrumental in arranging many of the gigs I have been doing in and around the Devizes area. Ronnie has worked in the music industry for many years, and alongside many well known artists; her enthusiasm and dedication knows no boundaries!
Marland Music Management recently showcased a number of acts (including me!) at the Potterne Beefest – this was my first chance to meet and see many of the other acts she promotes and manages. I was truly awed by the level of musicianship displayed at the event, and it shows that Ronnie clearly has a keen eye for talent. I am hoping to team up with her shortly and help to arrange for some of her other acts to come and play in venues that I regularly perform at further down south, so we’ll be putting our heads together shortly to try and make it happen.
In the meantime look out for Jamie R Hawkins, Benji Clements, Kirsty Clinch, Tarran Stormes Martino, Nick Pendry, and Aaron Heap for starters!
